This policy explains how instabiz collects, uses, and protects information shared by clients and website visitors. We keep it plain — no legalese for its own sake.

01 — Who We Are

instabiz is a digital presence service for local businesses, operated from India. We offer website setup, local SEO, and digital ad management on a monthly retainer basis. References to “we,” “us,” or “instabiz” throughout this policy refer to this service and its operators.

02 — Information We Collect

From clients and leads

  • Business name, owner name, and contact details (phone, email, WhatsApp)
  • Business address and location for local SEO purposes
  • Business category, service descriptions, and operational details
  • Google Business Profile access credentials (shared securely for management)
  • Ad account access for Meta Ads and/or Google Ads management
  • Payment-related information (billing details for invoicing; we do not store card data)
  • Correspondence records — messages, emails, briefs, feedback

From website visitors

  • Basic usage data via analytics (pages visited, time on site, referral source)
  • Device and browser type
  • Information submitted through our contact or inquiry form

03 — How We Use Your Information

We use collected information strictly to:

  • Deliver the services you have subscribed to (website build, SEO, ad management)
  • Communicate about your account, reports, and campaign performance
  • Send monthly performance reports and updates
  • Issue invoices and manage retainer billing
  • Improve our internal processes and service quality
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective clients

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Ever.

04 — Third-Party Platforms

Delivering our services requires working within third-party platforms. These platforms have their own privacy policies that govern data on their end:

  • Google — Google Business Profile, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — Meta Business Suite, Meta Ads Manager
  • WordPress / hosting platforms — for website builds and management
  • WhatsApp Business — primary communication channel
  • Razorpay / UPI — for payment processing (we do not store payment credentials)

We access your accounts on these platforms only to the extent required for service delivery. Access is revoked upon contract termination.

05 — Data Retention

We retain client data for the duration of the active retainer and up to 12 months after contract termination, to address any disputes or transition requirements. After this period, identifying business data is deleted or anonymised.

Campaign reports, ad creatives, and website assets built during the engagement remain accessible to you. We will transfer all assets and credentials to you promptly upon request.

06 — Security

Credentials shared with us (Google account access, ad manager access) are handled with care — stored in a secured password manager, shared only with team members directly working on your account, and revoked upon contract end.

We do not transmit sensitive credentials over unsecured channels. Where possible, we use role-based access (e.g., Google Business Profile Manager access) rather than requesting primary credentials.

07 — Your Rights

As a client or lead, you may at any time:

  • Request a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to our retention obligations)
  • Revoke platform access granted to us
  • Opt out of any marketing communications

08 — Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies — primarily for analytics (to understand how visitors use the site). We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes on our own site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to use this website.

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
